On Friday, Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule responded firmly to Uddhav Thackeray, criticizing the Shiv Sena (UBT) chief's Dussehra rally comments on his trip to Macau and political strategy.

Bawankule refuted allegations of inappropriate conduct during his Macau visit, asserting that his family accompanied him and that manipulated images were circulated misrepresenting the situation. He also addressed tribal land rights, ensuring no loss of ownership under proposed lease agreements.

The BJP minister criticized Thackeray's silence on Congress's insults towards Vinayak Savarkar and spared Rahul Gandhi. Additionally, Bawankule reassured that government employee salaries would remain untouched despite funding disaster relief, and reiterated commitment to Mumbai's Dharavi redevelopment project.
