BSP President Mayawati has issued a rallying cry to the Muslim community, urging them to consolidate their support behind her party rather than the Samajwadi Party and Congress. She argued this was essential to counter the BJP's 'destructive politics' in upcoming elections.
During a meeting with the Muslim Samaj Bhaichara Sangathan, Mayawati highlighted the past failures of the SP and Congress despite securing overwhelming Muslim support. She pointed out that these parties have historically been 'anti-Dalit, anti-backward, and anti-Muslim', leading to the BJP's rise in Uttar Pradesh.
Recalling her administration, Mayawati emphasized the BSP's efforts to ensure Muslim welfare and justice. She reminded attendees of her government's successful fight against injustice and lawlessness, promoting a life of dignity for marginalized communities. The meeting also addressed election readiness, with instructions to secure voter list accuracy.
