Tensions are rising in Rajasthan as former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot criticizes the current state government's handling of law and order following a bomb threat targeting the state assembly. Security agencies, on high alert, scoured the premises but found no suspicious objects. This marked the second threat in under two weeks.
In his statement, Gehlot expressed grave concerns about the deteriorating security situation, highlighting repeated threats to both the assembly and high-profile locations, including the Chief Minister's Office. He warned that such incidents indicate emboldened criminal activities that undermine public safety and confidence.
Gehlot urged the current chief minister to take immediate action, demanding a crackdown on the perpetrators behind these threats. He stressed that only through firm police action can public confidence be restored in the state's ability to protect its democratic institutions.
