In a bid to strengthen Haryana's anti-corruption drive, a critical quarterly review meeting took place at the State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau in Panchkula. The meeting, chaired by SV&ACB head A S Chawla, discussed enhancing effectiveness and results of ongoing anti-graft initiatives across the state.
The meeting addressed key aspects such as raiding progress, the swift resolution of pending investigations, authenticity of source information, and technological improvements within offices. Officers were instructed to handle corruption cases decisively and fairly, ensuring actions are backed by solid evidence to prevent unwarranted harassment.
Guidelines for expediting investigation processes and increasing court conviction rates were outlined. Commendations were awarded to outstanding officers, inspiring continued dedication. Chawla emphasized a sustained, zero-tolerance policy against corruption, aiming to bolster public confidence and ensure stringent measures are diligently implemented.
