INLD president Abhay Singh Chautala has openly criticized the Haryana government for its handling of farmers' issues, arguing that a special one-day assembly session should prioritize addressing agricultural hardships rather than censuring opposition parties.

Chautala pointed out that the imposition of biometric verification at 'mandis' has significantly burdened farmers, and highlighted his party's efforts in setting up grievance redressal centers to support them. He believes the government should have refrained from enforcing such stringent conditions.

Addressing reporters, Chautala questioned the Chief Minister's legislative priorities, emphasizing the need for a government acknowledgment of farmers' challenges. He also criticized the BJP's political maneuvers over the women's quota bill and expressed skepticism about BJP's electoral prospects in West Bengal.
