An 11-year-old boy was found murdered on Monday in Satna city, Madhya Pradesh, according to police reports. His body was dumped in a drum at his residence in Bank Colony while he was home alone, Additional Superintendent of Police, Shivesh Singh, confirmed.
Authorities discovered blood stains, a blood-soaked pillow, and a sharp-edged weapon during their investigation. The boy sustained multiple neck injuries, indicating the use of a sharp weapon. His mother was out for work at the time of the incident, with no other family members present.
Family members suspect the involvement of a local dry cleaner whose whereabouts are currently unknown, with his mobile phone switched off. Police have constituted three teams to locate the suspect as the investigation progresses, Singh stated.
