A tehsildar in Tundla, Rakhi Sharma, has made serious allegations against District Magistrate Ramesh Ranjan, accusing him of harassment and undue pressure to manipulate an inquiry report concerning alleged corruption.
Sharma addressed reporters, claiming the magistrate, his officer on special duty (OSD), and other staff pressured her to alter the report's outcome. When she refused, she faced harassment, including salary withholding and adverse service record entries.
Despite court intervention returning her salary, Sharma reports ongoing harassment and further inquiries. She sought intervention from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, demanding a high-level probe while filing an FIR against a local reporter for threats.
