Connections of Conspiracy: Arrests in Uttar Pradesh and Beyond
Authorities in Uttar Pradesh have arrested two individuals linked to anti-national activities. In Bijnor, Sameer was apprehended for being in touch with Saudi and South African individuals aiming to recruit youths for terrorism. Separately, Rajuram Godara from Jaisalmer faced charges related to religiously motivated arson.

Authorities in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor have made arrests in connection with anti-national activities, police reported on Thursday. Sameer, one of the accused, allegedly maintained connections with individuals in Saudi Arabia and South Africa who sought to recruit Indian youths for terrorism.
According to Circle Officer Anjani Kumar Chaturvedi, Sameer's links included Aqib in Saudi Arabia and Majul in South Africa, with Instagram serving as the communication channel. Lured into a potential terror network, youths were allegedly directed towards anti-national activities such as damaging railway infrastructure.
In a separate case, Rajuram Godara was arrested in Jaisalmer over a case involving the arson of a vehicle marked by a religious symbol. Previously, three suspects had been arrested in this case. Police investigations are ongoing, with lookout notices issued against suspected collaborators Aqib and Majul.
