Arrests Made: Unraveling the Punjab BJP Headquarters Blast Plot

In a significant breakthrough, five individuals have been apprehended concerning the recent grenade attack near the Punjab BJP headquarters in Chandigarh, as announced by Punjab's Director General of Police, Gaurav Yadav.
The joint operation was carried out by the Counter-Intelligence wing of Punjab Police and the Chandigarh Police, which successfully resolved the case, said DGP Yadav in a statement. The preliminary investigation suggests that the operation was backed by the ISI, Pakistan's spy agency, with foreign handlers based in Portugal and Germany recognized.
The explosion, which took place at 5 pm on Wednesday, involved a suspected crude explosive device. Despite its execution, the plot intended to destabilize regional peace was thwarted. Authorities continue to search for the main accomplices while verifying several unverified social media posts and videos regarding the case.
