In a significant breakthrough, Punjab's police have apprehended five individuals allegedly involved in a grenade attack near the Punjab BJP headquarters in Chandigarh. The suspects are part of a module supported by Pakistan's spy agency, ISI, according to Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav.

The Counter-Intelligence wing, in collaboration with Chandigarh Police, discovered a hand grenade and a Zigana pistol with ammunition from the suspects' possession. Investigations revealed connections to handlers in Portugal and Germany, elucidating the structured network behind the attack.

Punjab police are actively pursuing leads to capture absconding suspects as CCTV footage and an unverified social media video surface, offering crucial insights into the daring attack.
