In a stunning turn of events, six suspects have been detained following the brutal murder of Congress leader Parminder Tiwari in Machhiwara. The block president was tragically killed with an axe on March 29 near his residence.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Jaskaranjit Singh Teja, clarified that the murder appears unrelated to political or gang conflicts. The motive is suspected to be a land dispute, as Tiwari opposed illegal occupation plans by the assailants.
Major breakthroughs were made when the main suspects, Vijay Kumar and Lucky, were apprehended in Bihar. The authorities have also recovered the murder weapon and the getaway motorcycle.
