The document sets forth a broad vision to grant Scheduled Tribe (ST) status to six indigenous communities while emphasizing reforms in sectors such as governance, healthcare, and industrialization.
The manifesto, titled 'Raijor Istahar,' outlines key commitments including the establishment of an Anti-Corruption Commission, probes into substantial land allocations to corporates, and initiatives to ensure mandatory weekly rest days for police personnel. Promising a transformative agenda, Congress aims to complete pivotal tasks in the first 100 days if elected to power.
The document also emphasizes welfare initiatives for tea tribes, upgrading healthcare and education infrastructure, and supporting youth entrepreneurship with a dedicated fund.
