The authorities have taken action against Shoolini University after a tragic incident involving a former MBA student, Nitin Chauhan, came to light. Chauhan, who took his own life, had cited harassment by his employer in a suicide note found by police.
A massive protest by the students took place at the university, bringing attention to Chauhan's case. According to reports, Chauhan was hired in Dehradun with a promised salary that was reduced by half. His work conditions were reportedly severe, with long hours into the night.
Solan Superintendent of Police, Tirumalaraju SD Verma confirmed that an FIR has been filed against the university, and a thorough investigation is underway to uncover the circumstances surrounding the young student's death.
