Tragedy in Delhi: Hit-and-Run Claims Life of Local Cook
A 41-year-old cook, Surendra Das, was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Greater Kailash-I, south Delhi. The police have identified the vehicle responsible as a white Maruti Ciaz and have initiated a search for its driver. An FIR has been registered, and investigations are ongoing.

A tragic hit-and-run accident claimed the life of 41-year-old domestic cook, Surendra Das, in the upscale area of Greater Kailash-I, south Delhi, on Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred at 8:30 PM when Das was riding his motorcycle and collided with an unidentified vehicle, later identified as a white Maruti Ciaz, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police South, Anant Mittal.
An FIR has been filed under sections 281 and 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Police have launched a manhunt for the driver, employing technical surveillance and raiding multiple locations to capture the suspect.
