A comprehensive 48-hour crackdown dubbed 'Operation Kavach 13.0' by the Delhi Police culminated in the arrest of 267 narco-offenders across 229 distinct cases, according to an official statement on Wednesday.
Spanning all 15 police districts, the operation ran between March 29 and 31. A staggering 3,211 locations were scrutinized through simultaneous raids orchestrated by over 1,000 police teams.
The operation, targeting drug traffickers, suppliers, and organised criminal networks, resulted in substantial contraband seizures, including 100 kg of cannabis, over 1 kg of cocaine, and numerous synthetic drugs. Authorities also focused on illegal liquor, firearms, and gambling activities.
