The Delhi government is set to replace 1.4 lakh Chinese-made CCTV cameras as part of a security overhaul, according to PWD Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh.
The current count of 2.8 lakh cameras, a significant chunk of which are Chinese-made, will be phased out owing to security directives.
This initiative primarily targets Hikvision cameras, aiming to substitute them with advanced systems that ensure better data protection.
