Delhi Government Acknowledges Heroic Efforts with Financial Assistance

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday handed over cheques of Rs 1 crore each to the families of six Delhi government employees who lost their lives on duty during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gupta conveyed that the financial assistance symbolizes heartfelt gratitude and respect for these employees' bravery while ensuring Delhi's wellbeing amidst global uncertainty.
Promising continuous support, she criticized past delays in disbursing aid, asserting that no compensation could ever replace the families' irreplaceable loss.
