In a devastating traffic incident in Morayur, three individuals lost their lives when their car collided with a private bus on Thursday morning, police reported.
The victims, identified as Sakkeena, Shiyas, and Basila, were from Palakkad and Malappuram districts. Afrida and Ibrahim, who also traveled in the ill-fated car, sustained injuries and remain hospitalized.
The accident happened around 8 am as the group returned from Kozhikode airport. Authorities are investigating the incident, having already acquired CCTV footage from the bus. The investigation is ongoing, with a case registered by the Kondotty police.
