A heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, as a young student tragically lost her life after falling through the broken floor of a school bus. The accident took place on Wednesday afternoon as the bus was transporting students home.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Aditya, the accident occurred in the Etmadpur police station area. The victim, Naina, a Class one student at RBS School, fell through the compromised floor, resulting in her being run over by the vehicle's rear wheels.
The tragedy prompted other children on the bus to raise an alarm, leading to the bus being halted while the driver fled the scene. The police have taken the bus into custody and are conducting a thorough investigation. The child's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
