Oscar-winning actor Cillian Murphy reprises his iconic role as Thomas "Tommy" Shelby in 'Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man,' a new film set against the backdrop of World War Two. The story features the aging gangster stepping out of retirement to thwart a Nazi conspiracy in Birmingham, England.

The film serves as a continuation of the popular TV series "Peaky Blinders," which debuted in 2013 and ran for six seasons, each with six episodes. Directed by series creator Steven Knight, the narrative explores the complex relationships within the Shelby family, particularly the bond between Tommy and his illegitimate son, Duke Shelby, played by Barry Keoghan.

Set to debut on Netflix on March 20, the film also introduces new cast members, including Rebecca Ferguson and Tim Roth. Knight expressed his long-held desire to complete this part of the story with a film focusing on personal and familial themes set during the tumultuous times of WWII.
