Rumors of an LPG cylinder shortage, fueled by ongoing conflicts in the Gulf region, have prompted Punjab's government to remain vigilant, as stated by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Thursday.
Mann assured that the state is actively overseeing the situation to prevent any disruption in essential commodity supply. Warnings have been issued against spreading panic or engaging in black marketing, with stern actions pledged against any violations. Moreover, all deputy commissioners are instructed to avert shortages and ensure public convenience.
Efforts are underway to collaborate with the Union government for maintaining stable LPG supplies, with a strict market watch to deter overcharging practices.
