Mandya Court Bomb Scare Sparks Panic

A bomb threat email targeting the Mandya district court incited panic on Thursday, leading to a full-scale police operation. The threat, deemed a hoax, prompted immediate evacuation of the court's premises, disrupting legal proceedings.

In a swift response, police teams including bomb disposal and fire brigade units arrived on the scene. Senior officials, including Additional Superintendent of Police Gangadhar Swamy, supervised the meticulous search operation to ensure no threat persisted.

This incident follows a similar scare in February, raising fears amongst the legal community about the proliferation of such threats. Authorities have commenced an investigation to apprehend those responsible for the repeated disruptions.
