The European Union's delegation in Azerbaijan is actively cooperating with local authorities to help EU citizens exit Iran safely through Azerbaijan, the European Commission reported on Thursday.
Anouar El Anouni, a spokesperson for the Commission, expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan's vital assistance in ensuring the safe repatriation of European citizens from Iran.
Additionally, El Anouni acknowledged the help provided by Canadian consulate staff at the border between Iran and Azerbaijan.
