In a recent development, two traffic police officers in Gurugram have faced suspension after a surprise inspection uncovered lapses in their duty attendance. The inspections were led by ACP Traffic (east) Sanjay Kumar.
The first officer, ASI Narendra, assigned to Ghata Power House, was marked absent during the inspection and was suspended immediately. Similar findings emerged when ASI Azad, stationed at a check post for heavy vehicles linked to the Surajkund fair, was found absent from his post and lacking necessary equipment, such as a body-worn camera.
This move reflects a stringent approach from ACP Kumar, who insists that any negligence or disobedience will face strict action in the future, underscoring the importance of discipline and adherence to orders among the police ranks.
