In an effort to combat rising cyber threats, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in Gurugram has launched a dedicated help desk focused on educating the public about digital safety. This new initiative is part of a broader awareness campaign titled 'Managing the Digital World - Think Before You Share'.
The help desk will offer guidance and increase awareness among citizens regarding cyber fraud, online scams, misuse of social media, and data privacy. It also provides critical insights on how to verify information, report cyber crimes via the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, and access free legal aid.
CJM-cum-Secretary, Rakesh Kadian of the DLSA, underscores the importance of responsible digital conduct by encouraging users to pause, verify, and report suspicious activities, particularly targeting children, youth, and vulnerable sections of society.
