In a disturbing incident, twenty children from a government school in Aurad taluk were hospitalized after consuming their midday meals. Authorities suspect food poisoning.
The incident occurred at Jamaalapura government primary school, where students began experiencing stomach aches, nausea, and dysentery post-lunch. Out of caution, all 58 students were rushed to the hospital.
The health scare prompted an investigation, with food samples sent for testing. Bidar Deputy Commissioner Shilpa Sharma stated that the children are stable and confirmed that disciplinary actions will ensue based on the findings.
