Tehsildar Suspended for Illegal Registrations in Gurugram
The Haryana government has suspended the Wazirabad naib tehsildar for allegedly conducting illegal property registrations in violation of directives from the Town and Country Planning Department. Investigations are underway to determine whether similar violations have occurred elsewhere in the region, specifically concerning registrations linked to Ansal Buildwell in Sushant Lok-3.

The Haryana government took decisive action on Tuesday by suspending the Wazirabad naib tehsildar following allegations of illegal property registrations at M G Road, Gurugram. Officials confirmed that the Financial Commissioner and Secretary (Revenue) Sumita Misra issued the suspension orders.
These registrations allegedly violated explicit directions from the Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department. Particularly concerning the Bristol Hotel-cum-commercial complex, the situation was labeled as a blatant legal violation, prompting demands for strict disciplinary measures against the involved officer.
Consequently, Gurugram Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar has now directed an investigation, led by SDM of Badshahpur, Sanjeev Singla, to look into other potential infringements by the Wazirabad tehsildar and Badshahpur Naib Tehsildar. Parallel inquiries are ongoing regarding illegal registrations in the Sushant Lok-3 area, reportedly connected to Ansal Buildwell.
