During the event, Haryana's Minister of State for Sports, Gaurav Gautam, revealed plans to develop sports facilities for PwD athletes in Gurugram and a model sports centre for North India. Special Olympics Bharat President Mallika Nadda praised Haryana's role in advancing sports, noting that integrating special athletes can significantly contribute to the nation’s development.
