Expressing grave concern, the Mirwaiz highlighted the deteriorating health conditions of Shabir Ahmad Shah, chief of the Democratic Freedom Party, and JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik. Shah's family, particularly his wife and daughter, have reported alarming declines in his health due to lack of adequate medical care.
The Hurriyat chief emphasized the importance of compassion over political considerations, calling for urgent medical attention for all detained leaders and urging cooperation from Jammu and Kashmir's elected representatives to secure necessary relief.
