A peace meeting held to discuss the permission for an RSS route march in Chittapur has ended without agreement, according to official sources. The meeting aimed to address concerns surrounding the march, scheduled for November 2, as per directions from the Karnataka High Court's Kalaburagi bench.

Kalaburagi Deputy Commissioner Fouzia Taranum chaired the meeting with representatives from the RSS and nine other organizations, including the Bhim Army and Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha. Discussions became heated when proposals for the RSS to carry the national flag instead of lathis were rejected.

Several organizations opposed the RSS march, arguing it may threaten law and order, while the RSS asserted their traditional rights for a peaceful march. The Bhim Army threatened parallel marches if the proposal was ignored, ending discussions abruptly.
