A communication from the Ministry of Home Affairs was sent to all states and UTs, emphasizing career progression for ex-Agniveers post their armed forces tenure.
The Agnipath scheme, launched in June 2022, aims to lower the age profile of the three services while facilitating career transitions for Agniveers into key security roles.
