In a shocking incident, Faridabad Police have arrested a woman and her fiancé, accusing them of the murder of an insurance agent, Chander. The victim had allegedly been blackmailing the woman to prevent her marriage, police sources revealed.
Chander, a resident of Delhi's East Vinod Nagar, was found dead in a drain, with his motorcycle nearby. After his body was found on Sunday, an FIR was filed at Palla Police Station by his brother, Madan Gopal. The immediate investigation led to the arrest of Laxmi, 29, and her fiancé, Keshav, 26, who both confessed to the crime.
According to the police, the motive stemmed from Chander's ongoing blackmail of Laxmi after her engagement to Keshav. On October 25, Laxmi lured Chander to a deserted location where Keshav and his accomplices allegedly murdered him. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend two other individuals involved.
