Haryana Bolsters Rural Healthcare with New PHC Projects
The Haryana government has earmarked Rs 37.60 crore for constructing eight new primary health centres in rural areas, aiming to enhance healthcare access. Planned locations include Fatehabad, Hisar, Rohtak, Sonipat, and Sirsa districts. The initiative receives funding from the 15th Finance Commission and the state budget.

The Haryana government has approved a significant investment of Rs 37.60 crore to establish eight new primary health centres (PHCs) in rural locations, announced Health Minister Arti Singh Rao on Thursday.
This initiative aims to bolster healthcare services and improve accessibility for rural populations. The PHCs will be constructed in Fatehabad, Hisar, Rohtak, Sonipat, and Sirsa districts.
Funding sources include Rs 11.44 crore from the 15th Finance Commission and Rs 26.16 crore from the state budget. Construction is expected to conclude within 18 to 24 months.
