Indraprastha Gas Limited is being applauded by Delhi's Lieutenant Governor, Taranjit Singh Sandhu, for its vital contribution to the expansion of the piped natural gas (PNG) network throughout the region, including remote and rural sectors.
Sandhu, in a public statement, recognized the company's active participation in bolstering PNG infrastructure amid a recent gas shortage in Delhi. He emphasized the constructive collaboration with the local government that facilitated smoother operations through waivers and accelerated PNG connections.
In a show of financial prosperity, Sandhu also announced receiving a dividend cheque worth Rs 22.75 crore from the company for the financial year 2025–26, underscoring the business's strong fiscal health and its significant role in addressing energy needs.
