In the Padri Bazar area, a significant spiritual initiative is underway as a 75-year-old guru of the eunuch community, Prema, has constructed a Shiva temple worth over Rs 85 lakh. This financial undertaking has been primarily funded through traditional 'badhai' earnings obtained during ceremonial blessings.

Local residents have been visiting the temple site to commend Prema's efforts, appreciating the fusion of faith and community welfare her endeavor represents. Prema noted that the temple is set to be consecrated on April 24, with locals showing great support for this initiative.

Prema, who has lived in the area for nearly 60 years, emphasized spiritual connection as key to societal improvement. Besides building the temple, she has contributed to social causes like road construction and aiding in the marriages of underprivileged girls, using her ceremonial earnings to foster community development.
