The Bank of India (BoI) has initiated a commendable step towards promoting education among young girls by distributing 500 bicycles at PM Shri Zilla Parishad High School in Wanaparthy, Telangana. As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, the state-owned bank aims to ensure better access to education for these students.

The provision of bicycles is expected to facilitate easier commutes for the girls, thereby encouraging them to continue their education journey. According to a statement released on Friday, the initiative is a significant stride towards motivating young female students to pursue higher education and overcome transportation barriers.

The distribution ceremony, held on Thursday, was graced by the presence of prominent local and bank officials, including Mallu Ravi, Member of Parliament from Nagarkurnool; Tudi Megha Reddy, MLA of Wanaparthy; Adarsh Surabhi, Wanaparthy District Collector; and Manoj Srivastava, General Manager of BoI. Wanaparthy, located approximately 150 km from Hyderabad, was the focus of this impactful outreach.
