Girls Triumph in Jammu & Kashmir Board Exams: A Testament to Dedication and Empowerment

In a significant achievement for girls in Jammu and Kashmir, the latest board results have highlighted their academic prowess, with girls achieving a 90.42% pass rate in the class 10 examinations conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Health Minister Sakina Itoo both lauded the students' diligence, as well as the unwavering support from teachers and parents. The overall pass percentage notably increased to 88.85% compared to the previous year's 79.94%, according to JKBOSE spokesperson.
The examination took place in the summer zone of the Jammu division, where 50,754 candidates partook, resulting in 45,094 successful candidates. Improvements in government school outcomes and initiatives aimed at empowering girls are credited with contributing to these impressive results.
