Breaking Barriers: Girls Shine in Jammu and Kashmir's Class 12 Results

In a notable achievement, girls have outperformed boys in the recent Class 12 results declared by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education. The overall pass percentage has increased significantly to an impressive 89.79%, up from the previous year's 75.95%.
Of the 39,309 students who took the examination, 35,299 successfully passed, with girls achieving a pass rate of 90.75% compared to boys' 88.91%. The exams were conducted across the summer zone of the Jammu Division, with 336 centers facilitating their smooth execution.
Education Minister Sakeena Itoo commended the students and credited ongoing educational reforms for the impressive outcomes. She also acknowledged the dedication of teachers and encouraged students who did not qualify to persist in their efforts.
