Empowering Delhi's Future: Graduation for Every Girl

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has made a strong case for ensuring that all girls in the capital achieve at least a graduation-level education. Speaking on Thursday at the Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, she underscored her government's commitment to expanding opportunities for women.

Gupta highlighted the Lakhpati Bitiya Yojana, a significant initiative under her administration aimed at empowering young women. According to the scheme, each eligible girl will receive Rs 1.25 lakh upon completing her graduation. This financial support is part of the broader effort to encourage girls in Delhi to pursue higher education.

The Chief Minister conveyed her vision for a future dominated by women-led development, while urging students not only to chase their career aspirations but also to contribute to the nation's growth. She called upon these young women to play an active role in shaping a progressive society.
