Mahindra & Mahindra has announced a price increase for its non-electric SUVs and commercial vehicles, effective from April 6. The hike, up to 2.5%, encompasses cost escalations, with an average rise of 1.6% across the portfolio.
The price adjustment notably excludes the newly launched XUV7XO for its first 40,000 price-protected bookings, according to the company's statement. This strategy aims to counterbalance rising input costs impacting the auto industry.
Several other major automakers, including Tata Motors, JSW MG Motor India, BMW, Audi India, and Mercedes-Benz, have similarly raised prices starting April 1, driven by the same economic pressures.
