Judge Dismisses Most Claims in Blake Lively's Harassment Suit Against Justin Baldoni

A federal judge has dismissed the majority of Blake Lively's claims in her sexual harassment lawsuit against actor and director Justin Baldoni. The lawsuit, filed in connection with their upcoming 2024 film 'It Ends With Us,' was primarily rejected based on jurisdictional grounds by U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman.

Judge Liman made the decision in Manhattan, noting that Lively had sued under California law for conduct alleged to have occurred outside of the state. Nevertheless, the judge allowed her to proceed with a retaliation claim against Baldoni's production company, Wayfarer Studios, and other related claims.

The case has drawn significant attention in Hollywood, involving high-profile individuals like Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman. Lively claims the film's production created a hostile environment, while Baldoni maintains he addressed Lively's concerns promptly, asserting his actions were justified in managing the situation.
