Bill Gates Lauds Andhra Pradesh's Tech-Driven Transformation

Microsoft co-founder and philanthropy leader Bill Gates has commended Andhra Pradesh for its swift developmental strides, highlighting the state's effective application of artificial intelligence and technology. Gates visited the southern state's capital, Amaravati, where he interacted with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and praised the innovations across key areas like health, agriculture, and education.

In a post on X, Gates expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome he received and shared his excitement over witnessing rapid advancements driven by technology and innovation. His visit included a review of technology-powered governance presentations and a tour of a banana orchard by the Krishna river.

Gates voiced his admiration for India's leadership in the global digital revolution, attributing significant credit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Naidu for their crucial contributions. Additionally, he recognized Andhra Pradesh's role producing a notable percentage of IT professionals, including those at Microsoft, crediting Naidu's visionary approach.
