Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates will not be attending the AI Impact Summit in India, according to government sources. Initially slated as a speaker, Gates's absence was confirmed when his name disappeared from the event's official lineup on Tuesday.

The billionaire's non-attendance comes in light of new files associated with Jeffrey Epstein, where Gates was mentioned, though not accused of any wrongdoing. His spokesperson has dismissed related claims as 'absolutely absurd'.

A similar move was made by Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang, who recently canceled his plans to attend the summit. Speculation suggests that his withdrawal might also be connected to Gates's unexpected absence. Gates arrived in India on Monday and met top officials in Vijayawada.
