The AIADMK took aim at the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu after Google chose Andhra Pradesh for its $15 billion data hub project. Describing it as a missed opportunity, senior AIADMK leader R B Udhayakumar criticized the state's lack of initiative in attracting investments.

Google, led by CEO Sundar Pichai, who has local ties, plans to invest heavily in an AI hub in India, creating thousands of jobs and significant revenue. Udhayakumar argued that if the DMK government had approached Sundar Pichai, Tamil Nadu might have secured the deal.

Meanwhile, he also slammed TN Industries Minister TRB Rajaa for his stance, urging the state to actively seek new investments going forward. Google's investment is expected to transform Vishakapatnam into an investment magnet.
