MPCA's New Financial Aid Initiative for Former Women Cricketers
The Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) has introduced a monthly financial assistance program for former women players from the state. The initiative, endorsed by MPCA president Mahanarayanaman Scindia, seeks to support those not receiving aid from the BCCI, offering assistance ranging from Rs 6,000 to Rs 12,500.

The Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) is set to provide monthly financial assistance to former women players from the state, as announced by an official on Wednesday.
In a meeting held on Tuesday, the MPCA's managing committee, led by President Mahanarayanaman Scindia, approved a proposal to extend financial support to eligible players. Honorary secretary Sudhir Asnani confirmed the aid range from Rs 6,000 to Rs 12,500 per month, specifically targeting those not receiving financial assistance from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The initiative is structured to offer Rs 12,500 to those who have played international cricket, while domestic players will receive between Rs 6,000 and Rs 10,000, depending on their matches. Additionally, players over the age of 75 will receive an extra Rs 7,500 per month. Further decisions include extending Chandrakant Pandit's tenure as Director (Cricket) and increasing the honorarium for selectors, umpires, coaches, and scorers.
