The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has unveiled a new initiative to provide a monthly pension for former women cricketers who have represented the state in the Senior Women's National Championship.
Eligible players must be over the age of 55 and should not be beneficiaries of a similar pension from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). This policy reflects KSCA's commitment to acknowledging the invaluable contributions of women athletes.
According to KSCA Secretary Santosh Menon, players need to provide documentation of their match participation to qualify for the financial benefit.
