Batter Pratika Rawal has made a comeback to India's women's cricket squad after recovering from an ankle injury. The injury forced her out during the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup in 2025. Rawal replaces Shafali Verma and will participate in the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia.

The series, commencing on February 24 in Brisbane, marks an essential chapter in India's ongoing multi-format tour of Australia. The remaining two ODIs are scheduled in Hobart on February 27 and March 1. Rawal's recovery was completed at the BCCI Centre of Excellence, readying her for this crucial encounter.

The 25-year-old Rawal is also included in the Test squad for a solo match set to take place in Perth starting March 6. The updated squad includes key players like Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, and Jemimah Rodrigues, enhancing the team's prospects in the tour.
