Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Unveils Major Infrastructure Projects in Kangra
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu launched eight development projects worth Rs 153.81 crore during a visit to Kangra district. The projects include a bridge over the Beas river and improvements to local road and electrical infrastructure. Plans for enhancing religious tourism at Jawalamukhi and Naina Devi were also announced.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated eight crucial development projects worth Rs 153.81 crore in the Fatehpur area of Kangra district. Among these is a significant Rs 103.65 crore bridge spanning the Beas river, destined to bolster connectivity between Terrace and Sthana.
Additionally, Sukhu unveiled an office building at Fatehpur costing Rs 12.82 crore, and several roads connecting different localities, focusing on improving regional access. Significant investments in electrical infrastructure, including a new sub-station in Jawalamukhi, were also revealed, aimed at stabilizing power supply for over 35,000 consumers.
A strategic plan to boost religious tourism with aesthetic enhancements in Jawalamukhi and Naina Devi was disclosed, with an initial Rs 25 crore allocated for developing these cultural sites, promising a boost to local tourism and economic growth.
