The Indian Army, in collaboration with NDRF, SDRF, and SSB, executed a comprehensive flood relief exercise named 'Exercise Jal Rahat' on Saturday, highlighting the critical need for synergy and collaboration during natural disasters.

Held at IIT Guwahati under the auspices of the Red Horns Division of Gajraj Corps, this initiative was designed to showcase effective inter-agency coordination and disaster readiness. Employing drones for surveillance, innovative rescue strategies, and the evacuation of flood victims, the exercise illustrated the capabilities of each participating agency.

General Officer Commanding of Gajraj Corps, Lt Gen Neeraj Shukla, and other officials emphasized a collective approach for national resilience, urging a society-wide adoption of the four 'Ps'—Predict, Prepare, Protect, and Provide. The agencies committed to ongoing training, updating operational procedures, and enhancing their emergency response capabilities.
