A male leopard caused alarm by entering a house in Siddhartha Layout, leading to a response from local forest officials. The leopard, possibly from nearby Chamundi Hills, hid beneath a cot before being tranquilized and moved to Mysuru Zoo. No injuries were reported.

In a startling incident on Friday, a male leopard wandered into a residence in Siddhartha Layout, creating panic among locals.
Officials reported that the leopard, aged between three and four years, was discovered beneath a bed in the home of a resident named Suresh. The residents managed to flee and alerted forest officials.
With assistance from veterinarians, the leopard, believed to have strayed from Chamundi Hills or nearby forests, was tranquilized and safely relocated to Mysuru Zoo, according to a senior forest official.
